I am a consultant radiologist working at BHR University Hospitals in east London, UK. I have a special interest in musculoskeletal and pelvic imaging including Gynaecological, Prostatic and Rectal imaging. I am also the named paediatric radiologist at Spire London East, The Holly Private Hospital and Spire Hartwood.
With 20 year of experience in radiology where I completed my radiology training at Sheffield teaching hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London, I then fulfilled a combined year of musculoskeletal fellowship at both the NOC in Oxford and in RNOH in Stanmore. I have a vast amount of experience in musculoskeletal imaging & sports injuries including x-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI. I am trained in musculoskeletal interventional radiology, including x-ray guided injections and biopsies.
Areas of experience:
I have also developed experience in other diagnostic modalities whilst becoming a core member of Musculoskeletal, Gynaecology, Urology, Colorectal and Liver multi-disciplinary meetings.
I am privileged to be working within the NHS and I am very proud of the great services that we are able to provide to our valued patients.
I am passionate about my role within the NHS and other private providers, ( BUPA assured provider.) working with my excellent team to deliver the best possible patient care.
Service development:
I have established and lead on introducing micro bubble contrast ultrasound service in characterising liver lesions within BHR University Hospitals. I am now working on exploring the utilisation of this very useful modality in musculoskeletal and urology imaging.
I have lead the radiology department for 2 years, where I have actively involved all staff members to help develop the service we provide in the radiology department to our valued patients. After our hard work for 2 years our service was described by the CQC as a safe, effective, caring, responsive and a well led service.
My aim:
To make this an easily accessible and user-friendly site with up to date content. I also want to make this a site where users can ask about different treatments options of musculoskeletal related disorders that can be treated with interventional radiology and also ask about any other service we provide here to our patients.
I am also aiming to provide accurate up to date information, provide teaching for other clinicians and technicians nationally and internationally and use my users feedback to improve my services by contacting us.
